The Housing Authority of the City of Conyers Georgia has an active Resident’s Advisory Board whose members are residents representing our different neighborhoods.  The Board meets once a month to plan events and activities for all the residents.  In the past, there has been a Health Fair, Spring Fling, Christmas Party, Park Dedication, and Community Yard Sales.  The Resident Advisory Board acts as the liaison between Conyers Housing Authority residents and management. Specific responsibilities include:
 

• Working with CHA staff to address ideas and concerns of residents

• Welcoming new tenants

• Planning functions such as the annual holiday party and community yard sales.

• Assisting with advertising and recruitment for resident programs

Resident Advisory Board meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. virtually. Meetings are open to all CHA residents. Please email our office at info@conyershousing.com for the virtual meeting link.

Computer Lab is equipped with six computers and offers high-speed internet access to residents who would like to update/prepare a resume, search for a job, check/set up an e-mail account, surf the web, sign-up for benefits using COMPASS and more!

Regular lab hours are:

​

• Mondays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Wednesdays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
