RESIDENT'S CORNER

In response to recent developments and guidance relating to the spread of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and in consideration of the health and safety of residents and employees, the Housing Authority main office will be closed to the public until further notice. We will continue to monitor developments and guidance related to this current situation and make adjustments as needed.

The Housing Authority of the City of Conyers Georgia has an active Resident’s Advisory Board whose members are residents representing our different neighborhoods. The Board meets once a month to plan events and activities for all the residents. In the past, there has been a Health Fair, Spring Fling, Christmas Party, Park Dedication, and Community Yard Sales. The Resident Advisory Board acts as the liaison between Conyers Housing Authority residents and management. Specific responsibilities include:

Working with CHA staff to address ideas and concerns of residents
Welcoming new tenants
Planning functions such as the annual holiday party and community yard sales.
Assisting with advertising and recruitment for resident programs

Resident Advisory Board meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. virtually. Meetings are open to all CHA residents. Please email our office at info@conyershousing.com for the virtual meeting link.
